A Little About Our Mission Church....

We have been serving the Lord in Waikoloa, Waimea, Kohala and the Kona area for over 25 years.  We were recently chartered into the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in 2006.

Our Mission is first to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to our local residents and secondly, to open our worship to our guests and visitors from all over the world.

The Lord provides for our spiritual needs through His Word and the blessings of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.  We are grateful that our church does not need to rely on any subsidy or financial help from our Synod or District Office..  Our pastor currently works 20 to 30 hours a week with our church and full time  with a non-profit community service agency on this island.  We hope that as the Lord brings about growth, our pastor will be able to work full time for our church.  We also pray that one day in God’s timing, we will have a building which will be used for worship, education,
and service to our community.

Until then we remain steadfast, faithful and active in joyfully doing
the work of the Lord through the gifts and resources with which
He blesses us.
